Terminalia Bellirica Fruits Powder

Terminalia Bellirica, commonly known as Bibhtaki or baheda, is a large deciduous tree that is widespread throughout India. The fruits of this tree are widely used in Ayurveda, Siddha and Chinese systems of medicine due to its antidiabetic, anticancer and antimicrobial properties. The fruit rind is an important ingredient of the famous ayurvedic formulation, Triphala. The bioactive compounds present in the fruit pulp such as phytosterols, triterpenoids, glycosides, tannins and phenolic compounds account for the multitude of medicinal properties.

Terminalia Arjuna Bark Powder

The botanical name of Arjuna or Arjun Tree is Terminalia Arjuna. This tree is commonly found on the river banks throughout India. The bark of the tree contains minerals like calcium and magnesium, and is well known for its cardioprotective action. Due to the abundance in minerals, it maintains the general health of bones. The bark also contains certain rare phytochemicals like terminic acid, arjunolic acid, casuarinin, ellagic acid, gallic acid and glycosides like arjunetin and arjunosides I–IV, which are of great pharmacological significance.
