Tribulus Terrestris, commonly known as Gokshura or puncture vine, is a silky hairy herb that grows in various parts of the world and is well known for its virilizing effects. It is one of the constituents of Dashamoola, a reputed Ayurvedic formulation. The Ayurvedic system of medicine believes that Gokshura has the ability to increase luteal hormone in men and women, that in-turn increases the secretion of testosterone.
