Tinospora cordifolia, commonly known as Guduchi or Giloy, is a glabrous, deciduous climbing shrub that is native to India. Currently, a lot of research is being carried to discover the medicinal properties of this climbing shrub. Interestingly, it is believed that when this creeper grows on a neem tree, its medicinal values are further enhanced. ‘Guduchi satva’ or ‘Guduchi ghan’ is a concentrated extract that is obtained from Giloy stems. This extract has an immense potential to suppress cancer.
