Bhringraj, scientifically known as Eclipta Alba is a creeping herb which has a strong reputation as an anti-ageing agent in Ayurveda. This herb is well known for longevity and rejuvenation capacity. It forms one of the main constituents of those Ayurvedic products meant for hair care and cirrhosis. Due to the presence of a chemical compound called ecliptine and several other vital proteins, it is suggested as a general tonic for debility.
